When you connect Instagram to The Creator, we store an encrypted login token for your Instagram account, your Instagram user id, the follower counts we read from it and the like and comment counts of the posts we published. We use the token only to publish the Reels and Stories you create and approve in our app.
Delete it yourself, right now
- In The Creator, open Me, then Connect socials, then press Disconnect next to Instagram. This deletes the stored login token at once and we can no longer post for you.
- Or in Instagram, open Settings, then Apps and websites, find The Creator and remove it. Instagram then tells us, and we delete the stored token and the follower readings from your account automatically.
- Or in Instagram, use the “Delete data” option on that same app entry. Instagram sends us a request, and this page then shows your confirmation code.
TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn
The same applies to the other accounts you connect. Press Disconnect next to TikTok, YouTube or LinkedIn under Me, then Connect socials, and we delete the stored login token for it at once. You can also remove our access inside TikTok (Settings, Security and permissions, Manage app permissions), in your Google account permissions, or in LinkedIn (Settings, Data privacy, Permitted services).
Delete everything, including your account
Write to us through the help chat at the bottom right of every page and ask us to delete your account. We delete your profile, generated content and posting history within 30 days, except billing records we must keep by law (see the Privacy Policy).
